I know I've said it before, but I can't believe how quickly my little girl is growing up; she's already 9 months old!
She's really started to love solid foods--especially things like cheerios that she can pick up and eat by herself. She still loves to be on the move. In fact, she's gotten so squirmy during diaper changes that I usually hand her a book or something to help her stay put (notice I used the same trick for her picture). She loves to play peekaboo (see the last post) and another game where she stands up in her crib (holding onto the rails for balance) and bounces. If she sees me watching her, she'll giggle while she does it. Her official 9 month check-up isn't until later this month, but according to our scale, she is 22 lbs. I was hoping that she could stay in her infant car seat until her birthday, but since 22 lbs. is the weight limit, I guess shopping for a ginormous/expensive/reversible car seat is in our near future.
Here is her 8 month picture for comparison and a cute 9 month outtake.

Don't you have any ginormous/expensive/reversible car seats left over from the boys?
No. We got rid of Brian's after he outgrew it and Matthew was able to stay in his infant seat until after he turned 1 so we just bought a forward facing seat for him.
